vided with U and V into line segments (i'd prefer to use that method instead of rectangular grid). These segments in U direction would then be rotated around V lines segments with min value of 0 and max value of 90 degrees, according to attractor (i'd like it to be image sampler in the end but for now im trying with point/multiple points). These lines would then be lofted
I post the definition below
Here are my problems (i marked them in definition):
1)i managed to get U direction line in every second row, i dont know how to get the lines between the rest (i tried shifting list, but didnt manage to get the right result).
2)Harder part - id like to measure distance between attractor point and a bottom point of lines. Than i would like to transfer it to rotation this way (distances used just as example): distance 0-20 - angle of rotation 0degrees; distance 20-30 - angle of rotation 1-90 degrees. I have no idea how to transfer it into definition. I also have problems remapping numbers to 0-90 value.
3)I'd like to do that later but i'd also like to use black-white image sampler as white - 0 angle of rotation, black - 90 degrees. I never experimented with image sampler and would be grateful for some advice how transfer colors into degree values.
I politely ask you to help me (especially with first two points i mentioned). I'm not asking for a ready definition - I would like to understand where my mistakes are.
Below i post a picture of something simmilar (although im trying to rotate it by edge, not by center line)
Pardon my english, thank you for your time and help.

use Google's API, especially if you'd like to achieve a great quantity of data without overloading Google's servers.
I used a way to request data without overloading Google's servers by using a tiling method. Obviously, this component respects the limit of 2500 requests per day.
This is how the component works:
1) set one point and its coordinates
2) generate surfaces by using isotrim component (Basically, each sub-surface is a request)
3) set the number of division of each surface and the resolution of Google static maps
4) run, move points and generate surfaces with surface from points
5) apply textures to the surfaces
In the image below another small example:
I was thinking that this should be useful for wind simulation with Butterfly, maybe.

ree-form surface or polysurface.
As mentioned in the discussion title, I would like to create a look, similar to the beijing water cube, but not on a planar surface. And also the bubbles should only be very slightly tensioned.
I have tried 3 methods, they are all in the .gh file and best result ( smoothness of bubble) gives the "extrude to point" method. The problem is, the resulting mesh borders are not even close to the original surface, because of u,v setting to 1. I want the bubbles to have the original outline as border line. I don´t know if this is even possible.
The other methods are not very satisfying. ( I tried "inflate mesh" and third method was to patch the surface and point)
If somebody took a look in the file, I would be very glad.
Also there is another problem with the offset of the voronoi curves. Depending on the offset distance, the algorythm gives bad results. I used the clipper plugin, and have currently seen also pics of lines sticking out of the offset. Is there any solution for this?
For the bubbles, I have also seen similar solutions in the forum, but don´t know how to achieve them. Here is the pic of this solution, also posted in this forum and the discussion is here:http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/non-planar-voronoi-definition?commentId=2985220%3AComment%3A832079The result I see here, has rounded borders of the voronoi extrusion, which I would not like to get. So I hope this is enough information.thx a lot.

ake this example. However, I still have minor bugs.
Whenever I save and reopen the file, I could not unclick the drop down menu to fold the additional input. See pictures below.
1. When I open the gh file.
2. The input is not folded.
3. When I click again, additional input is now duplicated with itself.
Does anyone know how to fix this situation? Any comment will be appreciated.
I attach the C# file below. Thanks! …
and Grasshopper. Recently I tried doing some test project just to see what can I do. My target is to design a small house for an atom family. Though as you might think - it'll be a parametric one. And I encountered exactly what's in the title. So here it goes: 1. Something is wrong with the measuring units in the complex profiles. I met this problem while making I-beam. In ArchiCAD it had 127/76 mm while in Grasshopper i had 127000/76200mm so a little bigger. 2. I'm unable to turn off the preview. I mean when I delete something in Grasshopper/Rhino it still exists in ArchiCAD. I have to unlock it and then delete it. 3. Coordinates for points seem broken. They have to be multiplied 1000 times to match. 4. Now one of the most important. Is it possible to somehow SHOW Grasshopper where are already made in ArchiCAD objects. Even if they'll remain still. For example I want to make a parametrical roof. Do I have to model whole building from scratch in Grasshopper or is there some fast way to "import" existing scene so I can limit my work with Grasshopper only to parametrical one. 5. Is it possible to make "points" as controlling points in AC? Like, if I'd like to make a beam in a desired place which I will mark by that point and then I will "show" Grasshopper that point and tell it to make an object in there so I can control it within grasshopper. I tried ti do this using AC Control Point but when I click "Send changes" button, Grasshopper and Rhino crush immediately. It only happens then, with control points. 6. It seems that "move" component won't work with "2D curve" component connected directly. It is possible that some of those problems are outdated. I was playing around in Grasshopper a few months ago, before summer break, but now I plan to try something new and it would be nice to know what to do. I appreciate any answer to any of those questions. Please help, you guys, are my only hope. Thanks in advance! Karol…
tal fabrication tools. DLAB will investigate natural growth processes in relation to innovative concepts of architectural tectonics and fabrication. We will carefully interweave these concepts with interaction and participatory design to create full-scale working prototypes. The programme will be formulated as a two-phase process. ave pointed out, if the older version of Honeybee EPZone does not have the recirculatedAirPerArea proprety, then it must be the cause of the error as I am using the Honeybee_Export to OpenStudio component (VER 0.0.58 Nov_07_2015). Given the discrepancy between the version of the Honeybee components used to setup everything in the file all the way prior to the point feeding the zones' data into the Export to Open Studio component, I can see different options/questions to tackle this issue:
1- I have the OpenStudio 1.9.0 that works with EnergyPlusV8-3-0 installed on my computer and the reason that I had to use the newer version of the Honeybee_Export to OpenStudio component (VER 0.0.58 Nov_07_2015) is that I had initially received an error message using the component of the same version as consistent with the rest of the project (VER 0.0.57 Jul_15_2015) with the following content:
"Cannot find OpenStudio libraries. You can download the libraries from the link below. Unzip the file and copy it to C:\Users\Alireza\AppData\Roaming\Ladybug\OpenStudio and try again. Click on the link to copy the address.https://app.box.com/s/y2sx16k98g1lfd3r47zi"
The download link provided in the error message appears to be not active and thereby, I could not follow the instructions on the error message and make the Hoenybee_Export to OpenStudio component (VER 0.0.57 Jul_15_2015) work.
Therefore, if there is a way to make this version (VER 0.0.57 Jul_15_2015) of the Hoenybee_Export to OpenStudio component work by downloading the OpenStudio libraries or switching to a legacy version of the OpenStudio application prior to 1-9-0, then probably this would be one option to solve this issue.
2- When I realized I could not download the OpenStudio libraries as described in section 1 (see above) and make the Honeybee_Export to OpenStudio Component (VER 0.0.57 Jul_15_2015) work with the installed OpenStudio application (V1-9-0), I updated the entire installation of Ladybug + Honeybee User Object files to the new version (Ladybug_0_0_61 and Honeybee_0_0_58). This time the Honeybee_Export to OpenStudio component (VER 0.0.58 Nov_07_2015) seemed to be working with the installed OpenStudio application (V1-9-0) as I did not receive any error messages about missing OS libraries. However, I could not make things work since all other components in my project (eg. Creat HB Zones,Creat HB Surface) have been setup with the 0.0.57 version and obviously, the updated version of the Honeybee User Objects (V0.0.58) could not recognize my HB component of the previous version in the file.
If there is a way to make 'in-place' updates of HB components, for example updating the Honeybee_Create HB Zones in the file without having to re-wire everything from scratch, then it probably would work as the updated version will include the 'recirculatedAirPerArea' property. Otherwise, given the complexity of the scene, it appears to be impossible for me to start everything from scratch and setup the entire scene with the new version of HB components.
3- If none of the options in the last two sections (see above) would be possible, I was wondering if there is a way to open the zones' data as the outcome of the Honeybee_Solve Adjacency component (prior to feeding this data to the Honeybee_Open Studio Systems component and subsequently, to the the Hoenybee_Export to Open Studio) in a text-editor and manually add the missing recirculatedAirPerArea property to the zones' data; then probably I could do that and then eventually feed it to the Hoenybee_Export to Open Studio component.
These are the three options that I could think of in order to tackle this issue of mine. I apologize for the extended reply but I figured it would be better to give a more comprehensive description of my problem and previous attempts to solve it.
Any helps is most appreciated.
Please let me know if you need further information about the described issues in each section or the simulation scene setup in general.
Thank you,
Alireza

n the z axis I can not, here's the problem, because the movement is not only on the z axis, I can't do a serie with this vector. I tried to do it by differents columns or rows but its impossible for me.
2. Another problem. How I can fill a surface like this with tetrahedrons? What about change the size of this tetrahedrons? Is it possible like a fractal? :Si'm still working...
Thank you!
Finally I have completed the cloud!! I am a little bit fool. With the help of some sketches it was not so difficult! :).
I found the movement pattern of my tetrahedrons
Then I found the points inside my surface!
But now I cant create lines between points like in the begining of the process, with the pattern with points 1, 2, 3, 4. What I have to do?
??????????
