g a nurbs curve through a set of N-dimensional points is not the same as cubic interpolation of a linear data-set.
It's certainly possible to fit a nurbs curve through a set of point with a one-x-one-y constraint, but Rhino does not have such a fitter in the SDK, so it needs to be written from scratch.

ts of spheres, that are behind the camera, appear. This normally happens with weird lens length settings. The camera needs a 45° viewing angle and therefore might fall into this category. Maybe there is a good solution to get rid of this issue?
Issue #2: I have no clue how to run the screenshot calculation at the end of the solution. Normally I wanted to color the spheres in the video with the "Custom Preview" component, but they would not show up in the saved picture, since custom preview was calculated later than the screenshot component "Cubemap"
Issue #3: The calculation of an equirectangular image takes quite a while. ~4 seconds. Thats still good compared to the 9 seconds i had in the beginning. Multithreading through parallelizing could improve it even more, but it wouldn't work for me.
Especially ISSUE #2 is annoying and does not allow me to create a nice video. I would be glad if someone could assist me in this.
I actually tried already ExpirePreview or Solution, but maybe I used it the wrong way...

On trivial matters:
1. "Long" sheets means a big value "along" x (say 6 - 9 meters) BUT short "along" y (say 60-90 cm). This means that the min size dictates our panel policy UNLESS we use a self supporting triangular frame that is further triangulated and hosts the Lexan stuff (and your freaky rings of fire). But this negates the planar glazing ultra clean aesthetics and we are back into the misery of that rabbit hole. I hardly can see any Nobel (or EMMY or Oscar or Pulitzer or something equivalent anyway) around. On the other hand tinted glass can being made in sizes up to 3*3 m (or a bit more).
NOTE: Of course using smart glass (Google that) could negate your rings ... but don't tell that to the client.
2. Other than that ... er... cleaning the whole thingy ... well ... I have a solution for that: a bunch of flying dwarfs (or Smurfs) trained by the Lord (Himself) that can do the job (at a price).
3. Other than that the sensible thing to do is to cover (IF the cover is in the agenda) the T truss using the outside "side". But truth is that cleaning could be an issue. US Firm Birdair (King of membranes, master of all tensile things) addresses this using Teflon on certain fabrics ... meaning that rain can wash the membrane quite effectively.
BTW: Projects that have no budget floor makes me feel very happy - this is the proper way to blow millions (for no reason) he , he.…
hat feed the union. I changed the screen shot but can't change an uploaded file without deleting the post and re-posting.
I was just about to upload it but now it breaks on polygons of 3, 6, 8, 9 or 10 sides!!??? How bizarre and frustrating... Maybe I wasn't looking closely enough before. Probably the 'Pipe' around the table top, I've had 'SUnion' trouble with pipes before.
I just noticed the negative slider value being used for 'Length' of the table legs - that's odd.…

below, it is possible to create an arc between 3 points on a curve. thats easy, but now i have no idea how to do it if you have multiple curves/points... for example 9, wich i want to use to create an arc. so how do i create an arc through multiple curvs/points?
thank you in advance

ling with the issues regarding OpenGL and VMWare fusion's video driver. (long time to wait in my opinion) They should put more effort in to solving this kind of issues, and it just should work!
I've managed to solve some of my issues:
win xp upgraded from 2.x to 3.0.2
1. Right click your "My Computer" and choose "Properties"
2. in device manager open the "Display Adapters" and right click "svga ii" and choose "Properties"
3. in driver tab choose to "roll back" and your driver will be degraded to the latest version before the uppgrade.
OBS! this only will work if you have upgraded from earlier version.
In other cases it could help installing the DirctX 9 plug-in for Rhino! (haven't try that yet)
There are some steps in WIN 7 version that you could do... but it's best to contact VMWare in case you would like to experiment with that...
I'll post what I can about this issue gradually...

mple 4 5 8 9 2 3 6 7) when I use the SORT component in grasshopper. What I'd like to do is make a polyline going through all these points, without having it intersect with itself (which is currently the case).
The problem I'm guessing is the order of the points, although I'm not sure how I can give them the order I want. (they are created in grasshopper so I can't move them in Rhino to get the polyline I'm looking for). I tried convex hull but the polyline doesn't go through all the points.
Does this make sense?
Any ideas?
thanks!…
