Returning to your first post:
The Divide Surface component operates on u,v values which you can imagine as dimensions of the rubber sheet in relaxed state.
So the result you got was indeed an equaly divided surface, only in the so called "parameter space" of the surface, which doesn't always correspond to the xyz space.
There are methods to divide curves and surfaces in equal distances in the way you want it. For starters check out the Evaluate Lenght component.

to create building blocks in this grid. The problem I have is that my input list to cull pattern has 6 rows of 11 curves. And I have a cull pattern with 10 variations to select 2 of the 11 curves but I want to apply each pattern to each row. This sounds like a Cross Reference option on other components but this option is greyed out for Cull Pattern.
So instead the result I get is the first pattern is applied to the first row and the second to the second etc. until I run out of rows and then everything else is on the top row. see Image.
They only way I have found to get it to work is to split each row into it's own cull pattern component and apply the whole list of booleans to each row. But as I would like this definition to be adaptable allowing the user to specify number of rows and columns, there would be some limitation if copy/paste approach is the only option.
There is probably a better way of selecting these adjacent curves so I am open to all suggestions.

•Use the intervals between the points to get the x and y steps
•Use the indices to gain a starting point on the next point cloud ie. Triangular/rectangular/triangular point clouds, it may seem odd there was logic to it
•Once I have the extent of the points connect the points into longitudinal and transverse lines/curves using a data tree relative items approach.
The points contained within the rhombus are constrained by the condition that they require to be orthogonal, this is proving actually quite tricky as the lines intersect with the rhombus.

itecture studies this semester is a ramp, which is blendet into stairs. I tried it very hard manually and I even succeeded a little bit, but its all a mess and it took me so long to get this result, but even then I have no controll on how to change something without to redraw everything new. I have attached the file im working on in Rhino.
The thing is I need an incline of the ramp from 6% -10% max. to guarantee an disability access. I just want to know a way where i can adjust the incline of the ramp and the ramp is still blendet in the stairs while adjusting it. If that isnt possible i hope you can help me to figure out a way to just adjust the incline of the ramp when the top and/or the bottom ends are fixed.
I hope anyone knows what i mean an can help me.

em.Make sure that boundary conditions are set so that the structure can not move in rigid body modes.When you analyze a flat shell structure lock the rotation perpendicular to the plate in at least one node.Use the 'Eigen Modes'-component and activate the display of local coordinate axes: The first eigenmode will be the rigid body motion.

d having the entire surface adjust while maintaining equilateral triangles. The closest solutions I've come across are the equilateralize and shell and plate examples for Kangaroo (images below), but I don't think the definition in the equilateralize demo will work because I don't always want 6 triangles around each vertex (I want a range from 4 to 7.) The shell and plate example seems more promising, but when I open it in rhino/GH it says the C# component is old, and the code is missing. Also, the shapes I'm trying to model are much less spherical than the mesh in the demo, so I'm not sure if that method will work anyway. I'm also posting an image of some physical models that show what I'm going for.

I have written this automation with python.
but because of the animation slider rhino crashes everytime in a different value of the animation slider (frame number).
I have tried the hole thing without running the automation. I have left the computer to recompute only the objects without,baking, aissigning a material and render but rhino still crashes.
I am usin rhino 5 sp10 with the latest grasshopper and V-ray for Rhino.
