Basically it is a closed surface generated after lofting a series of oncentric 3-point arches. I need to export the surface to .iges but the arch line is visible and does not fit the purpose.

There are plenty of curve tools available. You can choose to create segments and join them together. Or you can choose to create regions and perform boolean operations on those.
