be done easier, but later on the geometry will change and therefore this seems the better option. But coming back to the problem
First, there were some problems concerning the zone, although it seems solved still the “runenergysimulation” gives the following warning:
1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
** Severe ** UpdateZoneSizing: Cooling supply air temperature (calculated) within 2C of zone temperature
Do one of you know what went wrong? It probably will solve most of it.
Second, “set Zone Thresholds” gives the following warning:
1. Solution exception:global name 'maxHumidity_' is not defined
However, the component is missing the max humidity input on the list, has this to do something with the error?
All the components are up to date.
I hope it will be an easy fix.

hen you determine their position and number by the "precision_" input. Their number is equal to "precision_ - 1".They are essentially mesh edges, not curves. To hide them, in Rhino application menu choose: Tools -> Options -> View -> Display Modes -> choose your current display mode, and uncheck the "Show mesh wires":
b) How do you change the x- and y-scale of the chart? For instance displaying every 10 degrees of azimuth?
Can you be a bit more precise? You would like to change the labeling of the azimuth directions from 30 degrees step to 10 degrees step? If this is so, you can not do that.
c) My input surface is a hyperbolic paraboloid, facing south symmetrically. How does the component calculate its tilt and azimuth?
All Ladybug Photovoltaics components calculate the amount of AC energy generated by a planar (flat) surface. Tilt and azimuth angles are calculated based on surface normal at 0.5, 0.5 surface parameters. So you can not use the hyperbolic paraboloid as the _PVsurface (or _PV_SWHsurface) input, as it will yield incorrect results. You need to planarize that hyperbolic paraboloid surface first.I attached below an example with default grasshopper components, but the size of the panels is not equal. If you want them to be equal use some paneling Grasshopper plugin like Lunchbox or Paneling tools.…
precious notes to make this simple GH definition starting from a blank page and few sketches I made during the camp. Not being skilled yet with GH I decided to make something simple that I can modify with per-defined parameters I want to control.
I have 3 questions about this definition :
1: I have a Shape missing @ the start of my input Crv probably because I used the Shift List so that the first Pt is not include in the set of operations. I don't remember how to solve it (see picture shiftList.jpg)
2: I started from a Rhino Crv to build the global shape for the model and I'm wondering if it's possible to shift all PTs from Top to Y=0 to get a straight Line and/or control the top shape (see picture setY0.jpg) ?
3: Because I choosed a certain logic to build this definition I'm wondering if it's possible to rotate all beams locally on the planes to orient each section according to the local vector on the input Crv ( see picture rotate.jpg) ?
Please let me know if you need more info's...

surface between 2 cross-listed series of points which happen to be "Divides" of the edges of the 3D surface (some kind of planar geodesics if you want).
To do so, I am extracting the intersections between the 3D surface and a series of planes that are rotated (with an angular increment defined as precision) around an axis defined by the straight line between the points.
Hence I end up with a bunch of planar curves. I need to extract them and order them into lists (1 list per pair of points) to extract the shortest curve between each pair of points.
If the first list of point is numbered: 1, 2, 3, 4..... & the second list is lablelled a, b, c, d.....
I can't find a way to extract the shortest point curve of the list between
1 and a, and between 1 and b, and between 1 and c, ... and between 2 and a, and between 2 and b, ...
I think the problem would be fairly easy to solve if I could use VB or Python or any code but I dont know how to code and I am in quite a rush to hand the project in..
Also, I have been using a Python component downloaded from this forum which evaluates if a point is on a curve and returns the point. I modified the code so that it returns the Curve instead of the pt.
If you guys have an idea how to solve this, you would clearly be my saviour :)
Here are a 3dm, the gh and the python component. I have also been using the Kangaroo component that kills duplicate curves..

Hi friends,
trying to get a cumulative sky image metric to run and encountered an issue with the image-based metrics component. It throws:
Runtime error (KeyNotFoundException): honeybee_materialLib Traceback: line 768, in main, "<string>" line 1442, in script
I guess this is some sort of setup issue on my end, or I messed up the definition? Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Max
