dimension of matrices must be identical) and division is the same as multiplication (dimension must be in the order of A(mxn)*\/B(nxk) where n is the common dimension): to divide one element by another you just multiply it by 1/value (part or all of the elements can multiply while part or all of the elements divide):
so for example matrix addition of matrices A(2x2): {2,-1}{1,2} and B(2,2): {3,-5}{4,-2} will result in matrix C(2x2):{5,-6}{5,0}. subtraction of those matrices will result in D(2x2): {-1,4}{-3,4}
Division of matrices A(2x2): {2,0.5}{2,4} and B(2x1) :{2}{2} will result in matrix C(2x1): {1+0.25}{1+2}={1.25,3}. Multiplication of those matrices will result in D(2x1):{4+1}{4+8}={5,12}.…
ok thanks, i solved the problem on 4, but not on 5. i guess i'll have to update 5. 4 needed the latest vcredist_x86 from microsoft. hope that helps others
What is weird is that i tried this in both 4 and 5 with different results. I created a rectangle and did a planar srf command. In 4 control pts were at the edges but in 5 they were offset.
gh (3 times now).1. Install latest Rhino 5 beta 64-bit. Keep old Rhino 4 install.2. Copy over GH component files from Rhino 4 since you cannot specify the install directory when installing GH. Add GH as a plug in for Rhino 5.3. Install Karamba Free 0.9.083 to Rhino 4. I tried to install Karamba to Rhino 5 beta (under C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 Beta (64-bit)\Plug-ins\Grasshopper\Components) but when I install no files appear in the directory.4. Copy all Karamba files to Rhino 5 directory.
5. Start Rhino 5 and GH. Karamba appears in the toolbar and everything appears fine, but I receive the below error from the Analysis component:
Error: Solution exception: The type initializer for 'fem.karambaPINVOKE' threw an exception.…
run FireflyUnoFirmata script in Arduino, it indicates that Arduino is connected with Com Port 5, and consequently there is no relationship yet between the Firefly script and Arduino.
Perhaps this goes back the installation of Arduino driver. I followed all the steps listed in http://arduino.cc/en/Guide/Windows. However, firstly I do not see the ArduionUno Driver listed under Ports (COM & Lpt), instead the new driver after I plug ARduino in my computer, is named "Communications Port (COM5). When I right click at COM 5 to update the driver according to the instructions, I cannot select the ArduinoUNO.inf file located in the drivers folder. I cannot see this file, only the FTDI USB Drivers" sub-directory.
Could you please help me with this?
I have a Uno R2 board.
Please, let me know,
best,Skender…
