of the grid structure at the closest value to for example 15m lines lenght just for the U-Division and individually for each brep.
I got it already done for one brep so the line length depending on the U-division of the Grid structure would be about 13 or 14 but the result wenn using more then one brep are not close to a line length of 15 m at all at the breps indiviually. I have 4 breps in my example and should have 4 different grid results/ line length closest possible to 15m as I have 4 breps.
I hope that makes it bit clearer and is not too much expected, otherwise I probably need to try a complete different approach as I am already sitting down for many hours on this small data tree problem.

But now I have the situation that the number of branches can go down to 1, resulting in simplify effectively flattening the list, but merge somehow "remembers" the data structure and will result in something like:

So this is happening even though all inputs are simplified. Shouldn't simplify also reduce all the items to just {0}, even when just one branch is present?
So is this expected behaviour? Surely the number of branches should be irrelevent for simplify.
Any workaround? I tried trim tree, but it fails because there is one branch with the correct {0} identifier. Basically it should flatten in that case, but not when there is more than 1 branch.
In the screenshot, D2 contains no data, but D1 is simplified, but retains its depth information and should also be {0}, as it does for any data that has more than 1 branch. The merge component makes it visible. Flattening is not an option.

We have a grid which consists of a collection of columns, where each column consists of a list of points. You said flattening is out of the question, so we need to cull items from each list individually.
Let's say our culling pattern is KDDDKDD (repeat as needed). K = Keep, D = Ditch. If a column contains 18 points, the pattern needs to be repeated until it is 18 items long. In this case:

We can now cull each column, but they will all be culled in the same way. By shifting the pattern one more index for each column, we can cycle the culling.
The fix incidentally is to Shift the pattern PRIOR to repeating it. Then it works as expected:

its speed slows down a lot. I used it with Rhino versions higher than 7, but it slows down again after 4 times clicking on octopus. Someone can solve my problem. The speed of octopus all versions is also very slow. Please help me. My goal is to reach equal sides of triangles. Is it a bug or Rhino or octopus or algorithm in grasshopper? Please help me. Thanks…

First, there were some problems concerning the zone, although it seems solved still the “runenergysimulation” gives the following warning:
1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:

Do one of you know what went wrong? It probably will solve most of it.
Second, “set Zone Thresholds” gives the following warning:
1. Solution exception:global name 'maxHumidity_' is not defined
However, the component is missing the max humidity input on the list, has this to do something with the error?
All the components are up to date.
I hope it will be an easy fix.
