Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Alex,

first of all congrats for your user-friendly, versatile and performative plugin. It's a great plus for the GH community.

I just have two partially related problems I don't understand.

First of all, and maybe this is just a logic mechanism of agent's movement, when I set an environment(let's say a box), the agents always tend to go to it's edges.

Second, when I try to use the 'Contain Force' component(and also 'Bounce Contain'), it almost every time gives me back a "Solution exception" error.

What's my mistake? How to avoid it?

Thanks again Alex

Hi Luca,

Thank you :) It isn't that the agents tend towards the edges, they just get stuck if there's no contain force applied to tell them to turn away from their current trajectory and the environment just pulls them back in if they go outside of it. So we just need to get your contain force working. I can't replicate the issue, do you have the latest versions of Rhino, Grasshopper, and Quelea. If not, update and let me know if that works, otherwise, post your file below and I'll take a look.

Best,

-Alex
