Searching for jobs in computational design can be a bit of a maze, especially when platforms like Indeed don’t make the process as seamless as they could. I was looking for relevant listings and had some trouble uploading my portfolio through their site. After running into these issues, I contacted https://indeed.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html . They responded quickly and helped resolve the issue. It’s nice when support is efficient, but I really think the platform could do more to ensure a smoother experience for people seriously job hunting.
I’ve also been trying to find a job for a while, sending my portfolio and resume to job sites, but suddenly I came to the thought that I’m not that interesting of a specialist who can attract an employer. Unfortunately, of course. Now I’m thinking I need to somehow improve my knowledge or skills, maybe study somewhere, get a new specialty. Basically, just develop myself somehow to handle the competition.
We all get to this sooner or later. The new generation quickly pushes through, because even though they don’t have much experience, they can offer way more to employers. I’m studying right now, planning to get a dlab certificate, and for now I’m practicing with a dlab practice test. As far as I know, the exam is really not easy, and the certificate has value. At least in my field.
