algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey folks

Just wanna let you know we are close to release our beta 0.2 version recently.

In this release, we will have much improvements including:

Shader improvements (including the implementation of SSAO-screen space ambient occlusion)

File format support, we will support OBJ, STL, Collada for the first batch and more to come.

Rendering optimization

UI changes(including functions like: editing, capturing thumbnail etc)

Last but not the least, we've re-programmed our entire rendering engine which is much faster than before.

Let me know if you have any suggestions or thoughts about things that you want to add.

BTW,  just for fun, we've put together a bunch of design chairs in a page, click to view and download these models for free.

Sounds good! I'd like to upload meshes with more points ;)

hey Dani, you actually can split the mesh using one of our plugin and bake them out for now.

But definitely, we will add that into the backend, so our server will take care of that for you.

Sounds great! I really like the minimalistic interface - if you embed it on your own website it just pops up and you can navigate around. Really nice. For sure new features are always nice but I hope you keep it as simple as it is :).

Keep it up!

Thanks Ralf! We will definitely keep that and we'll always do our best to make it as simple and efficient as possible. Looking forward to your new website!

It could be nice to have an autoplay feature for the camera path, so the model/scene can run as an animation on start...

will add that!
