Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to work between mathematica 8 and Grasshopper using Mantis Addon.

I am having a hard time converting the string into a working model within grasshopper

Could someone possibly help me ?

It will great if you could.

Thank you for your time.

Marc.

attach the just delayed function in the upper panel you have then use this

N[Table[paramlawson[u, v], {u, 0, 3.14, .1}, {v, 3.14/2 - a,3.14/2 + a, .1}]]

this will work without plot points or range

{u,0,3.14,.1}----.1 for the steps of points

here is a solution for your problem-sorry for being delayed in reply

Thank you very much for your files. However in my computer it says that no data were collected.

Am I suppose to change something in the .gh file ? open mathematica ? The three files are saying no data were collected, so I guess I have done something wrong. Can you help me ? Thank you.

It says : Error : Solution exception : The type initializer for
'Wolfram.NETLink.Internal.NativeLink' threw an exception

did you past the Wolfram.NETLink.dll file in the same folder with mantis

Dear, I am still having trouble with that definition. The loft is not accurate.

Would you know how to export directly a mesh with equal triangle area  from mathematica to rhino.

If I use : "Mesh -> All, MaxRecursion -> 0"

It produces a refine mesh, however all the triangle are differents.

How to avoid that.

How to export the model with the U V parameter into grasshopper

How Can I work with the U and V parameter in Rhino or grasshopper with that surface ?

Thank you very much for your help.
