algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello Karamba,

My problem is that I creat a sctructure and run the cross setion optimalization. I need to print the result out but the final meshes in karamba are open tubes. So somehow I need to connect them at he nodes to get a fully closed structure.

Do you have any ideas how I can manage it? What is the way how you can get printable models from karamba?

Thank you!

By the way, good point, who do you even contact if there’s a problem with the 3D printer or something goes wrong during printing? I’m planning to buy a 3D printer for business purposes, but I haven’t really seen any services or companies that actually offer maintenance for these printers. Maybe you can contact the manufacturer directly if they’ve got support?

Tech support. I don’t know what kind of companies you’ve been looking at that don’t offer that. Honestly, those probably aren’t worth working with. We use an Epitum printer, it works great, but yeah, sometimes you’ve got setup questions or little issues with parameters. There’s always a way to contact their specialists. And really, if a manufacturer is solid, they’ll offer more than just a printer warranty. It's a service support, software updates, and help when you need it.
