Message on behalf of Max:

Dear Grevit Users,
sorry for remaining quiet for such a long time, I’ve been very busy with moving and finally realized that my Gmail login isn’t working anymore for this platform.
Due to your all your great input and requests I could hardly handle myself I published Grevit as an Open Source project at github.
https://github.com/moethu/Grevit
Everyone is welcome to join and take Grevit further.
If there are any questions you’d like to ask in person I would suggest a little release party somewhere in Clerkenwell?
Best
Max

Hi maximilian, have you stopped development?

If so, do you have any plans to release the code so that others can continue developing it?

Works great, except update feature. Do you think you could help me? I 'read your comments on Food for Rhino on shared GID parameter, but I could still not get it to work.

Cheers, and thanks for sharing your work.

I agree with Rasmus. Great work to address interoperability between GH & Revit but the Update feature not working is a huge achilles heal, especially if you have tags and dims attached to those elements in Revit. Has there been any development to fix this problem?

Thanks.

I have tried example 3&6 you shared. but i keep on getting these errors

A transaction or sub-transaction was opened but not closed. All changes to the active document made by External Command will be discarded.

Can u tell me why this  is happening? (Revit 2015,Rhino 5, GH 0.9)

Hi team Grevit.

Just want to say - Great work :) This is really exiting, one of the most seamless transfers I have tried.

Once the "update" function works complete it will be very nice.

Have you been thinking about adding transfer the other way as well? E.g. transfer data about Revit elements to Grasshopper?

Best regards.

Rasmus

Hello,

I have a recollection that Grevit was an open source project.  Is it possible to download the Grevit libraries on GitHub?

I have 3d curves and want to export to Revit.

I have a problem to export via Model line component. Can any one explain how model line works.

Sort of, ancient holiday. Not curtain wall panels per se, but using adaptive components you can do what you're aiming for. Alternatively, as ACs aren't always a good thing, I've had recent success exporting the glass as a wall (or other 3D object) and using Lyrebird to place each mullion as a family. Happy to share more if this sounds appealing.

Good luck!
