WISH: A component for conversion of cartesian co-ordinates to polar co-ordinates

Hi David,

I am a commercial user and Rhino instructor in the marine industry and I would like (see above for [y]) so that I (and others) can do STS* mooring analysis easier.

Do you like how I've even put it into the BG formula :)

I noticed there was a Polar Co-ordinate Component but no vice versa.

It would be good to have Inputs as Point to measure to and System as a Plane to measure from. Outputs of Radius (or Distance), Azimuth/XY/Phi as the ground angle and an Option for Ground up or Pole Down for the Theta angle.

This would give a Net Line Length between fairleads and the Horizontal Angle from the Ship A's Centreline and the Vertical Angle down/up to the Ship B

Personally I would only ever want the Altitude option but it think the convention in both maths and physics is to measure it from the pole.

EDIT: So yeah I'm happy just have the one option

Sorry, I already added the option (but as a component menu option, not an input boolean) so I removed my reply...
