wire display hotkey?

Is there a way to assign a keyboard command to wire display? Maybe so that with whatever components are selected, all inputs could be toggled between default, faint, or hidden. I understand it'd be difficult to control a single input with a hotkey, but the ability to toggle all inputs per component would still seem like a useful ability...
