algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi i was wondering if anyone knows of any visual representation for wind. I am aware of kangaroo which can show the lateral stress that wind has but i am looking for more of a way to show where the wind is.

Does any of these two help?

Well Jaime...

If you are in the AEC business I would strongly suggest to "forget" wind impact on LBS (that's easily solvable these days with ways way outside the GH envelope, not to mention that Rhino has absolutely nothing to do with AEC BIM matters).

But the main thing (by a huge margin) is how the facade panel system can withstand pressure/suction forces. The vast majority of people not in our trade think/believe that this is a "given".

For instance (suction forces not included in the screen shot for clarity) this info panel on a rather very complex C# tells you some good news on that matter:

But if the wind velocity goes up to 130 km/h (and obviously depending on a zillion other topology related factors) then .... there's VERY bad news around (see the pressure VS design loads, air infiltration/water and especially safety loads):

Additionally the rather stupid contemporary trend towards blobs (and twisted things) raises exponentially issues since quite a few facades are relating SOLELY on structural silicone (that doesn't last for ever you know). I'm talking having structural (even semi-structural) curtain wall systems in mind (see what happened recently in Singapore)

Another unspeakable truth out of many (people are rather happy to "omit" from their concerns such little/humble details).
