What is the diffrence?
Hi Everybody
by using quad-panel and triangular panels I doubt what happens for the squares when cut from their diagonal?I mean do the squares lose their planer surface?It clearly seems yes , but upon what geometric logic they got half? and I wanna know about any description about the basical tesselation rules?

The quad panels are not necessarily planar. The diagonal of the triangular panels is always cut parallel (in UV space) to the line between 0,0 and 1,1.
