Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hey im trying to set up a wavy wall - layered panels on grasshopper and since im fairly new to the world of grasshopper i would appreciate any help i can get. Ive been trying for a while through videos and through discussions on this page to set a plane and through curves or points, which would be controlled components, create waves.

I used an awesome video online by OM. which gave the panels but created the waves on rhino...so it there a way to control the surface and waves on grasshopper?

pictures below are sort of the outcome im looking for and what im getting

thanks

Yes. How would you like to control the shapes? Through equations? Using attractor geometry? Importing bitmaps? Sampling sound waves through the computer microphone? Through some sort of physical simulation?

Thanks for your reply.

yes a detail i didnt mention. i was thinking either through image sampler or the graph (or a drawn curve) but i think my best option, to create the aesthetic im looking for, is by using attractor points.

Hi.

Attached is an example of using curve attractors. You can reference your own curve attractors in your rhino environment and play around with them by turning on and manipulating some of their control points and  see what's going on.
