Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hey guys, I'm a student who is new to grasshopper, and am trying to use it in a studio class I am in this summer. I am trying to make my walls twist to become the surfaces upon which a person walks atop. I have attached images of what i am trying to explain. I want to be able to vary the length and width of the strips that are the walls/paths...and be able to adjust the rotation of the planes, as well as where the twist occurs along the strips. I am designing an art museum that weaves through an existing structure of a sawtooth roof printing press in downtown Berkeley. I appreciate any help i can get, and let me know if you are confused about what I'm trying to accomplish.

Hi!
I did something like that a few months ago. Here is part of my definition. Hope it helps.
NB that it is not necessarily develppable.

Here's a basic developpable surface def. Sorry for not sharing the details but I use this for a living. What you could do is rebuild a dev surf from the edges of the ribbon from above.
