algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Walking Distance

hello, i am very new to grasshopper and have an urban design project i want to calculate walking distance between many houses to public facilities. i have the houses as points, roads as lines and facilities as points.

Is there a way to connect the house points to the nearest road (i used CP but it connects to many roads instead) and trace along the road to the nearest public facility and then list the length of all the lines drawn?

it seem data tree thing, can you show the file?

about the tracing thing, you can use the shortest walk component

There is a plugin on food4rhino called ShortestWalk, made by Giulio Piacentino, implementing A* search algorithm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A*_search_algorithm).
