how to create a Vortex/Catenary/Funicular Structure

are there any ways to create a funicular structure at a specific location on the roof? I would like to create one where all of my roof planes are intersecting.

Not too great with grasshopper so I've looked for scripts and found one that only worked in a flat single plane. In my case all of my roofs are in angled and I have trouble creating one at a specific location. If there is any way to achieve this it would be great.

How about cutting out your roof from scratch using new funnel?

You'll need "Lunchbox" plug-in.

this is what I am looking for, I was also wondering if there is a way to utilize the lunchbox with the roof so that I have a full continuous structure because right now it looks a little discontinuous because the vortex looks like it got cut off from the roof.
