Voronoi on non-planar surface

Hi there! 

I m trying to implement a voronoi pattern onto a lofted surface, i now that you can easily project or morph the voronoi diagram onto a non planar surface or even use voronoi 3D and then use the brep/brep interesection component but I would like to not use these techniques so I could still have the information relating to the voronoi cells !

Any suggestions?
