Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get an effect as per attached picture "Final Effect".

I've read different discussion such as:

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/hey-how-to-creat-a-3d-vor...

and

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/skeletal-mesh?id=2985220%...

and other similar, but couldn't get any thing as I wanted.

You can open the definition below voronoi box and this link, scroll at the bottom, the picture you see with the voronoi box, is what the definition should do, but it doesn't, any guess?

Thank you

Hi.

There are so many relevant thread about 3d-voronoi skeletal framing, so you can easily find and try this method.

You'll need Exoskeleton and Topologizer +Weaverbird plug-ins

Beware some slider twicking will break the definition, so, you'll have to find fine combinations between topologizer's tolerance and Exowireframe's slider values.

They are not the same thing. I don't think you quite understand the difference.

I understand that these two definition do different things and generate a different result. Probably I explained wrong what I would like to achieve. The idea is to have a voronoi pattern but on a box 800x800x150mm, that is similar on what there is on the ring. which then I will CNC with the robot here in the lab.

thank you
