FireFly Video Component not working

I've been trying to upload a video (.avi) into the video component on Firefly but it won't allow me to do so. I've tried creating a file upload path, but every time I try to upload that way, it crashes and closes the programme. I've also tried dragging and dropping, but it keeps sending a pop up saying Grasshopper doesn't understand what I want it to do.

How do I fix this?
