algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Vertex to vertex to draw straight lines

Hi everyone:

I have a topology problem.

There are a lot of points in three dimensional space.

Is it possible to draw straight lines from vertex(red) to vertex(red) and the path follow the other points?What the component should i use?

Given the chaotic pt order this IS highly case specific.

Solving it via code (spaghetti is not my forte) ... but I have a feeling that the solution is utterly pointless since ... it's case specific (meaning that for some other case you'll need some other code > Catch 22).
