VB scripted Counter: like Animate Slider

Hi Everyone

I have been looking thought both the forum and the Primer but must admit still a little confused on the best script/workflow to use to create a counter in VBscript that works like animate slider without creating the frames.

This is due to needing to bake morphed geometry onto a surface in rhino one at a time otherwise my computer will die, but not need the frames and these seem to be slowing down the processing time as well as creating unwanted images.

Any pointers or pre-written scripts i can read to better understand the workflow much appreciated.
