VB.NET component. I go mad now...

I've spent a good number of hours in frustration this weekend trying to learn the vb.net scripting component.

What I would like to do is very simple:

I have two circular extrusions.  One is a solid, the other is not.

How do I sort these in the VB.NET componenet (not legacy)?

Can someone PLEAAAASEEE provide the code.  I am lost.
