Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Interesting little project...

I'm creating a helix structure.. Two sets of helix cover to radius.   I using a series set to create this.  So thats where I stand.

The main thing is to first scale the top to create a whirlpool/tornado construct. Working on this.

My main question though, is how do I create variable radius across a piped curve.  As in this hand done version.

In self creation, I extract the points of the single helix and scale them +/- x and loft the result. Any ideas?

use the 'perp frame' component together to with the 'circle' component to create perpendicular circles at various points of the helix curve with different radii. Then use the Sweep1 component.

Nice script
this looks good.. but the problem has grown a bit. So, I've created the helix using a Fibonacci component and then I evaluate the line to get an attractor on the line. This seems to work alright. Now, I using the logic that you have for variable piping to try to increase the size of the radius of the pipe/sweep as the attractor goes across the line. This is becoming difficult. It shouldnt but lol... brain is a lot of places today. Any help would be awesome
