Variable Curve Offset Based on Curvature Evaluation

Hi,

Can anyone help me with creating a variable curve offset based on curvature evaluation? i.e. offset gets large when the curvature radius is larger, and vice versa. I was able to use the curvature radius to manipulate the offset distance, but it remains constant across the curve.

Thanks

I would like to have some help with this to! How can it be done on a set of planar curves?

Seem to have broken file writing so I cannot post this as a gh file, but hopefully you can work out from this how I solved it.

ok, yeah, i could have guessed that by the color...

nonetheless, it seems to be useful at first glance for all kind of proposes, not only galapagos. will check it out.

cheers, frank

this is already in grasshopper. its called genes (i think) its there so you don't have to connect galapagos to lits of sliders

Thank you!

Now I'll play around with it for a while:)

I'm guessing the first vector in the cross product is the z unit vector?

Probably.
