Value List Solution Save State

I noticed that Solution> Save State only saves slider and graph mapper values.  Is there a way to make it save the value from a Value List Parameter as well?  If not, 1-how can I go about saving these values (my guess is externally?) and 2-are there plans to implement this functionality in the future?  Thanks for everything.
