Using Split mass component for different shapes

Hi everyone,

I am trying to use the split mass component on different shapes. I have tried on both a house shape Brep and a monopitch house shape Brep.

The first shape reverts to one zone, and the second shape has the "'noneType' object has no attribute 'centroid'"

What are the limitations on the shape if I were to selected a Brep and the split mass?
