Using kangaroo to simulate fiber to fiber interaction?

Hi grasshopper masters,

I'm currently working in a studio and researching into fiber composite morphological possibilities. We need to study for example the kind of form generated from several layers of strings weaved together and the physical interactions between them due to tension in the string and fractions between pair of strings that touched.

I'm pretty good in grasshopper, but a beginner in Kangaroo, I'm wondering if anyone here has experiment something like these using Kangaroo, meaning simulating pre-tensioned non-elastic string to string interactions. Or any suggestions/imaginations for that sake!

It doesn't look very promising based on what I've found so far, so hopefully someone can shed some light for me.
