Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

So I am adding geometry to Rhino model with units for layout and model in metres.

When changed the model to unit millimetres to do something, I didn't scale the model, so it is obviously small. But when I change the model back to unit metres, the model is still very small.

I can't find a way for the Grasshopper definition, in otherwords, to respect the unit dimensions set in Rhino, whatever happens.

Any tips?

Thanks in advance,

JM

The "Human" plugin has a "Document Units" component that lets you feet dimensions with units specified - like "400mm" or "40m" or "40 ft" or " 56'8" " - the component will automatically convert these values to the active Rhino document units. This can make it easier to create definitions that respect the units in the Rhino document.
