Unequal point spacing along curve

hi everybody,

I have been trying for some time now to divide a curve in a certain way.

The points should follow a curved line and the spacing between the points should grow as shown for the straight line (option1) from A to B

It seams easy doing it for a straight line of points with the range component and the graphmapper  but somehow seems complicated for a curved line.

Option 2 is what I have so far which is not really what I want.

It would be great if someone has a hint or suggestion to tackle this problem.
