I think they purposely punish stupid behaviour. Trust me, i'll never try again streaming from a text panel to the same file i was using on a 'read file' component.

That stuff is supposed to be caught, but the mechanism is clearly busted.
I'll see about getting it fixed for the next release.

Just to be clear, when you start with a new document, create two parameters and hook them up (like in your image) it crashes?

Or do you need to do something else as well?

If not, this is now fixed.

Some component for looping with a break condition would be great....less scripting more possibilities... and recrusive stuff would be possible.
