Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Trying to modify a phone case from rhino in grasshopper to display data. *Update

Hello, So my project is to take a phone case, and distort the external panels of it with data on the amount of swear words we use in text messaging.  I have found a blank phone case and have collected the data, but now I need to figure out how to actually manipulate the object.  I was thinking of looking into using attractor points and have the back side of the case protrude in different areas at different heights depending on how much the specific word is said.  But I am not too sure on how to do this.  When i finish typing this I will look through the primer and see what i can find, but I hope someone will be able to push me in the right direction!

*Update

Alright, so I've split off the back panel, and have overlaid a grid of points onto the panel.  I have uploaded the grasshopper file and the .3dm of the case.  I'm wondering if there is a way to distort the object without changing it's general shape, so that it can fit back on to the case.  Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

So i guess the phone case file is too large to upload, so here is a link to it on google drive.
