truncated geometry based on hexgrid

Hi,

I am looking for some help with applying an L-System to a hexgrid, and then creating truncated hexagons, with their height and scale based on the location to the L-System.
I have attached the algorithms I have been using, however at the moment to create the truncated forms I have been using the third algorithm and baking each form separately. This is becoming a very tedious process! 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
