algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to do an energy simulation on the Bank of America Center building for my class project. I'm getting an error with the brep for the walls that says the walls do not form a single closed volume. To fix the problem, I deleted my current walls, traced the outside form, extruded the curve, and exploded the wall into surfaces to ensure the volume was closed. It is still giving me an error.

I am uploading the file if anyone would like to take a look at this. I can't run the simulation until I fix this error.

Thanks so much!

well I cannot open your file as it is rhino5 but from your description exploding the wall would make it not a closed volume. Sound like you need to cap and join the wall.

That's what's confusing. I was told to not make it one object but to use surfaces- this works for everything else (floors and ceilings). Attached is a rhino4 version.
