algorithmic modeling for Rhino

trim issue

Hello! I was wondering if someone could help me..... I'm having a trimming issue with the file attached. I want to be left with a rectangle full of hexagons....

My apologies if this is bordering on idiotic, I am brand-new to the software & having some troubles picking it up. I am attempting to create a hexagonal mesh and seem to have tripped up over the first hurdle. 

Any help gratefully received!

yes! that's what I'm trying to achieve, but I can't seem to get it to work. I can't get the rectangle to act as a boundary?
