Trim curves that extend outside a brep

I want to trim the curves that extend outside a brep. The trim component isn't working for me and says that I need to use a closed brep. I have tried joining the adjacent surfaces that make up the brep I want to use using the 'join brep' component but it still isn't working. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Same here - can internalize geometry such that these plugins aren't necessary to see your model?  P.S.  A 'RevSrf' (the revolved ellipse) is not a "Closed Brep".
