Triangulate Subdivision Equally

Hi all,

I am currently facing some trouble trying to triangulate a surface equally.

In the picture the red triangle is something i had achieved with grasshopper and on the right is what I intend to achieve but had done so manually right now.

I cant seem to figure out the script for the subdivision of triangle.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
