Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm having a bit of a problem recently - after the latest Rhino 5 (Beta) 64 bit and the new Grasshopper 0.8.0006 (WIP) installs.

Please refer to the images. When I mouse over a component or anything within the Gs window it maintains a ghosted window profile for the Tool Tip (helper). This is a new occurrence. It hasn't happened before; I've been running Gs for over 1 year.

My hardware situation is: Macbook Pro loaded with VMware and Windows 7. I've tried altering the graphics acceleration to no avail.

Can this be fixed? - it's not affecting the Gs functionality, its just making me a bit crazy.

Is there a way of disabling the Tool Tips?

Thank you!

ALT should disable any tooltips. In fact while the tooltip is on screen it checks for ALT continuosly and hides the tooltip whenever ALT is down. However, z few months ago I decided to not actually destroy the tooltip window and recreate it, but to move it off screen when not used. This reduced flickers and delays.

It could be that VMWare doesn't like windows moved this far off screen... I have no idea.

Let me k now if ALT works, then we can dig deeper.

Hi David -

I'm depressing the ALT key. Is that correct? If so, it does not disable the tooltip. Not sure if VMware is interfering with the keyboard inputs on this one.

Hmm, peculiar. There appears to be a bug here as well. D'Oh!
