Threads are too old!

Hi all-

I've been spending a lot of time in the forum lately researching various topics, but I've noticed that many threads are very outdated. Examples posted from several years ago often don't work with newer versions. I'm wondering if some more advanced search functionality could be added to sort results by date? I'm also wondering if there are any ideas in general for dealing with scripts and definitions from older versions. This is often a problem with kangaroo components, as older versions never load, and its very difficult to remake definitions. Any thoughts....
