algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all! I´m new in this forum

It´s possible to do a sweep extrusion with a slider who handles his growth???

I attach a few images only to show what I want to do...

Maybe sweep is not the better way to do this... any suggestions will be welcome!

In fact wath I´m trying to do is a sequential growt with different paths...

Thanks in advance!!!

Two ways:

  1. 'Point on Curve (CurvePoint)'
  2. 'Evaluate Curve (Eval)' - use 'Reparameterize' on the 'C' input

Hi Joseph, thanks but that only add a point on the curve that doesn´t handles the growth of extrusion like in the previous pictures, no?

The sweep component has rail and section as imputs, in the solution wich one is the new rail? It´s possible to evaluate the polyline only up to the new point on curve?

It's a track start that Joseph started to explain.
Here is my method:

Thanks Rémy! It work perfect!

'SubCrv' is good!  Forgot about that one, handy.

'Shatter' the curve to get part of it for the rail:

And why not rotate the resulting sweep at any point along the curve?  Just for fun.

Thanks Joseph! Shatter works great!

Also the rotation could be useful for what I´m looking for ;)
