surface to mesh keeps subdividing two connecting triangles- folding triangles

 I am trying to use the attached script to simulate two triangles hinging together but I am having trouble inputting a mesh.

I need to draw it in rhino and then input to gh

I cant seem to convert the surfaces to meshes so the pointlist is correct and the mesh keeps subdividing. I have tried using converted surface/polyline and straight meshes and change the pointlist but cant get it to match.

Any suggestion? I know its a basic issue but I cant find a solution
