Surface Numbering

Hi guys!

I am trying to make number the surfaces in rhino using grasshopper. I am using a definition that already does that.
However, the surface number is not always the same especially when i slect more
surfaces. To better understand what i mean, please see attachment screen shots
below.

In the first screenshot, i first selected three surfaces. These surfaces where given numbers by the grasshopper
definition.

In the second screenshot I selected the three original surface but then added three more surfaces. The surfaces are given their own surface number. however, the first original three surfaces
are now given different numbers.

 Is there a way that the first three surface get the same numbers? Also, are there any  particular rules how
grasshopper assign the numbers to the surfaces? are they random or is it
something like left to right first then top to bottom?  Anyone's reply
will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

BTW, here is the screenshot of the definition I am using.( i think i got some part of the definition in one of the discussions here)
