Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I have multiple non-planar surfaces/polysurfaces (Petal-shape) and they are intersecting at some areas.

Is there any way that I can find the number and areas of the intersections and mark these clashes?

Thanks

Can anyone help me? or give me some hints :`)

You could try Projecting the wireframes to a plane and then do MCX [Multiple Curves] intersection

Thanks Danny for the reply.

But the problem is that I have a curved mesh and each petal is located according to the mesh faces. so they are not planar. which means they might overlap but not intersect.

so if I project them all in one plane the overlaps may appear as intersection! which is not true in reality.

picture bellow may clear my words.

If I could find a way that works like Rhino command :"intersect two sets" for surfaces.

Thank you
