algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Surface from (variable) 3d point cloud
Hi,
I made a regular 3d point cloud and adjust a point attractor. This attractor deletes closest points of 3d point cloud.
My question is how can I make a surface with this point cloud as a cover? When I move the attractor, point cloud and cover surface will be deformed.

It's unfortunate that your model requires a plugin ('NudiBranch') for 'Box3dGrid').
Why not just use a solid difference?

Indeed the far simplest way is to create the SD and then test the pts Tree for inclusion.
Not sure why the native component (in red group) doesn't work with trees
