Surface from grid of points(or intersecting curves)

Hey I am very new to rhino and I am trying to make a surface from two curves that I have made in rhino maths plugin. These curves are looping in different directions making grid intersection points. I am trying to make something like what you see in this image bottom right: example I have tried path and mesh patch from intersected points but I am just getting weird shapes it is likely because of lack in experience or I am not using it right. Guys from rhino forums sent me here even tho I am pretty sure the example was made with just rhino.
