Surface form

Hello,

I'm just testing different possible solutions for the thesis pavillion's roof :) it rather won't be a geodesic one, but having such a basic surface would be great! I surely missed something. How to get such a surface? Ideally on a waving, closed curve :) That would be a great start for further research.
